As a four-year starter at Middle Hitter/Blocker while at FAU, Christy was a two-time team MVP and is ranked in the top six in each of the eight all-time career statistical categories. Once holding the highest honor in five of the eight categories, Christy still holds three records to this day in Solo Blocks, Blocking Assists and Service Aces. Christy was a two-time member of the All-South Region First Team as a sophomore and junior, and as a senior became the first player in the history of Division I volleyball at FAU to be named to the Trans America Athletic Conference (now Conference USA) First Team.

Christy just finished her 8th season as Fort Pierce Central’s Head Coach. Where she guided the Cobras to a 25-5 season in 2018, the best season at Central since 1984. The Cobras were also the District 8-9A Champions, reaching the regional final for the first time since 1984. Christy was also named the TC Palm Coach of the Year for the 2018 season and has reached over 100 career coaching wins at Fort Pierce Central.

Christy has coached club volleyball on the Treasure Coast for the last eight seasons and has coached for NVL/Club Med Academies since 2015.
